With over 40 years of experience, James has appeared on Broadway (Uncle Vanya, Roundabout Theatre), Off-Broadway (Gross Indecency at the Minneta Lane Theatre, Public Enemy at the Irish Arts Center, The Professional at Circle Rep, Smoke On The Mountain at the Lambs’ Theatre) and a wealth of regional theatre with engagements at ACT in San Francisco, the Old Globe in San Diego, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, McCarter Theatre, and the Paper Mill Playhouse among others. Television appearances include Law & Order, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, Rescue Me and The Sopranos and all the soaps formerly produced in New York City

He has had published a number of audio books and is looking to further expand into that arena
